Screen shot 2010-01-01 at 3.24.51 PMChronicles of EMS is a reality web series that travels the world exploring EMS systems, how they operate and the personalities behind them. From San Francisco to the UK every system has it’s unique differences that can offer other providers a different perspective and educate viewers on ideas and concepts that work. Through realtime communication and social media, the sharing of best practices bring paramedics and EMT’s together in a community built around the web series engaging them in dialogue, raising awareness and showcasing the real side of the EMS Industry.

Chronicles of EMS was developed by Director/ Producer/ Paramedic Thaddeus Setla NREMT-P. and Chris Montera EMT-P.  It was conceived as a chance to share the knowledge of how all EMS Systems operate and entertain the viewers. During a podcast on EMS Garage with Paramedic Justin Schorr from the San Francisco Fire Department and Mark Glencorse, a Paramedic from the UK, our paths crossed through social media allowing us a way of sharing their story and expanding it to other parts of the world.

The MedicCast EMS podcast is scheduled to kick of its EMS Expo Live coverage tomorrow at Noon ET. You will want to follow it here if you are not available to attend in person.  I am expecting a special guest or two to join me on the stage to discuss some special request EMS tips so make sure you stop by.

I’ll be posting updates here over the next few days as well as over at the MedicCast EMS podcast site.  If you are attending the expo, you can help out with our podcast coverage.  Chris Montera, Greg Friese and I are looking for your favorite products seen at the EMS Expo.  Stop by our booth and share your picks with us so we can go take a look for ourselves and maybe feature it in a video product review.

On Friday morning, Chris, Greg and I will make our favorite product innovators choices. You can help contribute to our decision.  We’ll also pick our favorite swag item, too so keep your eyes open!

See you all tomorrow!

Jamie Davis, the Podmedic

Connecting with EMS Podcasters at the EMS Expo

Hi everybody! This is the last of my pre-expo videos. I leave early tomorrow morning and everything you see from me for the rest of the week will be coming directly from the EMS Expo itself.

One of the most frequent questions I’ve been getting lately is, “How do we connect with you all [ems podcasters] at the EMS Expo?”

Two ways -

First, check out the EMS Expo live podcast schedule I posted over at the MedicCast EMS podcast blog

Second, follow our Twitter feeds to find out where we are and what we are doing.

I put this short video together to tell you exactly how to connect up with Chris Montera, Greg Friese, and me – Jamie Davis, the Podmedic via twitter. Don’t forget you can get an “almost live” look at the EMS Expo right here at EMSExpoLive.com!
